This Canadian student in her early 20s went to Seoul to have double chin/neck, arms and abdominal liposuction done 2 years ago. However, the result was disappointing. She did not see any difference at all 1.5 years after the liposuction was done. She eventually came to see Dr Arthur Tjandra of Elixir de Vie for revision liposuction of her double chin/neck and abdomen 5 months ago. She actually read about Dr Arthur Tjandra of Elixir de Vie long before she went to Korea for liposuction. However, she was skeptical. How could an Indonesian surgeon produce better result than a Korean surgeon. After all, the whole world go to Korea for cosmetic surgeries, no?
Loving the result, she now returns to Dr Arthur Tjandra of Elixir de Vie for arms liposuction. Dr Arthur Tjandra does not quite like the result because of some unevenness which was not present right after liposuction. Curious with what could have caused it, Dr Arthur Tjandra asks to see the compression garment which the patient has been wearing the last few months, and is amused to learn that instead of proper post-surgical compression garment or abdominal binder, she has been wearing S&M type Halloween party faux leather abdominal binder! This kind of garment does not provide even compression, therefore results in unevenness. Luckily her abdomen appears much better now compared to the pictures she has posted on her blog: My Liposuction Journey. And it is definitely better and much more shapely now compared to after she had liposuction done in Seoul 2 years ago.
One has to remember that full recovery from liposuction surgery may take at least 6 months to up to a year. It is also very important to perform daily massage if possible, something which is extremely costly in Canada, and to wear a proper post-surgical compression garment or abdominal binder to help shape the abdomen and help the skin to retract back.
