This case has been previously published on our YouTube channel. As this patient returns to Dr Arthur Tjandra of Elixir de Vie for the 4th time, we are republishing her case on this blog so that is a continuity.
This 20-year old patient who weighed just 48 kg, had been exercising vigorously, resulting in a weight loss of more than 10 kgs. However, along with the weight loss, her breasts size dropped 2 cups! She could hardly fill up A-cup bras anymore; there’s just too much space which needed to be filled with a lot of toilet rolls and facial cotton balls! Although exercising and dieting are the way to go to lose weight, one can’t instruct the body to burn fat from only certain areas, but to preserve fat in other areas such as face, breasts and buttocks. That’s why this patient came to Dr Arthur Tjandra of Elixir de Vie to further sculpt her body into a more desirable shape, and use the fat for autologous fat grafting breasts augmentation to restore back the volume loss in her breasts. She realized that if she continued to exercise vigorously in order to slim down her arms, tummy and thighs, she might end up completely flat-chested! One would notice in this series of videos that although she has managed to lose 10 kgs, her body still lacked the womanly hour-glass figure. Unfortunately, exercise and dieting can only do so much. You can’t “spot reduce” with exercise. Liposuction is the only method for “spot reduction”.
