When this patient returns to Dr Arthur Tjandra of Elixir de Vie, 6 months after her thighs liposuction, her first question is: “Why are my thighs still so big after liposuction?” Dr Arthur Tjandra‘s reply is: “Do you have any idea how huge your thighs were? For safety reason, I only remove 2-3 L of fat in each session of liposuction. If you have 6 liters of fat in your thighs, how can you expect to have super model slim thighs after just 1 session of liposuction? Besides, complete recovery with complete remission of swelling takes at least 6 months, up to 1 year. This is barely 6 months after your surgery. Anyway, I removed 3.5 L of fat from your thighs. You still have an estimated 2-3 L inside your thighs.”
