As of 1st January 2020, there will be a revision of both our liposuction and autologous fat grafting fees.

We understand that our liposuction fee will have increased 1,500% by 1st Jan 2020 compared to when we first started Elixir de Vie in 2008. We also realize that with this increase, 3-dimensional liposuction may become less affordable for most average patients. Therefore, we would like to recommend the following to all prospective patients:

  1. Visit a cheaper surgeon first in other third world countries, such as Thailand, Malaysia, Vietnam, Cambodia, Myanmar, Philippines, India, Pakistan, or Bangladesh, who usually charge a lot less than what we charge.
  2. Opt for standard, conventional, non-3D liposuction by a surgeon in their home city/country first.

If, by visiting a cheaper surgeon or opting for non-3D liposuction, one could get good result, one would have saved a lot on the cost compared to if one visited Dr Arthur Tjandra of Elixir de Vie directly. If one is dissatisfied with the result of surgery with other surgeons, one could always visit Dr Arthur Tjandra of Elixir de Vie for a revision surgery later on.

If you had gone through all the revision surgeries we have published on this Vlog, you would have noticed that all the patients who had visited us from the UK, Australia, Singapore, France, Russia, Germany, Middle East, Canada and USA had first got their primary surgeries done in their home countries before flying half the globe to visit Dr Arthur Tjandra of Elixir de Vie. We recommend that you do the same first, too. There is always a possibility that you might like the result the first time round, which helps you save on the cost to travel all the way to Indonesia.

Please note that from 1st January 2019 onward, revision liposuction surgery fee is charged higher than primary surgery fee (i.e. getting liposuction done for the first time). We no longer charge the same rate for revision liposuction. The fee will be based on the complexity of the case, as well as the nature of complications found during the revision surgery. Therefore, the final surgery fee may be more than what one is quoted with, depending on what is found during the revision surgery, and the complexity of correcting it.

If a prospective patient lied about having had prior liposuction done, and evidence or complication of previous surgery was found during surgery, the surgery would be cancelled and all fees paid are non-refundable. We encourage prospective patients to be honest about previous surgeries, if they have had them.
