This 26-year-old Chinese Singaporean flight attendant had had whole body liposuction done in Singapore before flying to Medan to look for Dr Arthur Tjandra of Elixir de Vie for revision liposuction. As she did not have much spare cash left after spending close to SGD 25,000 for whole body liposuction, she could only target areas which were most obvious, even when she was fully dressed, which were her arms. As she was required to wear tight-fitting kebaya at work, her bulging arms fat could clearly show through her kebaya. Her thighs, on the other hand, could be hidden underneath the long kebaya.
The reason why she was so unhappy with her whole body liposuction result was because the previous surgeon did not perform 3-dimensional liposuction for her. She was not even fat to begin with. Like most other stewardesses, she was already slim, even before liposuction. Had the previous surgeon performed a 3-dimensional liposuction for her, the result would have been fantastic!
Unfortunately, as shown in the videos below, the previous surgeon performed liposuction on only the lower part of the back of her arms, anterior (frontal) abdomen and upper inner thighs. Those were what he considered as “whole body liposuction”. In the video showing her abdomen below, one can also see the complication of VASER liposuction, as the ultrasound heat used to melt her fat, caused burns underneath her skin, which eventually resulted in “stuck-down” adhesions upon full recovery. The skin appears stuck-down to the tissues underneath. Burns and adhesions are apparently very common complications of ultrasound-assisted liposuction.
