This mother of 2 children in her late-30s comes to Dr Arthur Tjandra of Elixir de Vie for abdominal liposuction and autologous fat grafting to her sunken and droopy breasts due to prolonged breast-feeding. As she has significant breasts ptosis, Dr Arthur Tjandra of Elixir de Vie actually advises her to get a breast lift surgery done, however, she is not keen for such an invasive surgery. She feels that autologous fat injection to her upper chest where she needs volume the most, can address her concerns, with less downtime and minimal risks. She also understands the limitation of liposuction if performed on someone who has significant splitting of abdominal wall (rectus diastasis) like what she has, due to multiple pregnancies. In order to have a completely flat abdomen, the muscles need to be repaired. Liposuction aims to take out fat located under the skin and above the muscles only.
