This woman in her mid-30s is one of Dr Arthur Tjandra‘s favorite patients, because she documents her journey at Elixir de Vie so meticulously in her blog: Project Curvilicious.

She has visited Dr Arthur Tjandra of Elixir de Vie three times in the past. Session 1, exactly one year ago, was spent performing frontal abdominal liposuction and autologous fat grafting breasts augmentation. Session 2, eight months ago, was spent performing incomplete arms liposuction for her, where upper back and shoulders were not addressed as per her request. Session 3, six months ago, was spent doing liposuction of her flanks and love handles, as well as a second session of fat grafting to her breasts.

All the videos from her previous sessions have been published on our YouTube channel.

Result of her autologous fat grafting breasts augmentation and abdominal liposuction 1 year later has also been published.

This case study illustrates the importance of 3-dimensional liposculpting. Not only is it important to perform circumferential arms liposuction, but it is also extremely important to address all areas connected to the arms: shoulders, armpits and upper back! This patient opted for only arms and shoulders liposuction, without armpits and upper back. One can see the bulging upper back fat makes her arms appear like drumsticks! The videos below show the result 6 months later. She now has beautifully toned and defined arms, but bulging upper back fat.

Video 25: Result of incomplete upper body liposuction, arms and armpits, without shoulders and upper back, 6 months later.
