This woman in her early-20s is actually not fat at all. However, like most Asians, although she is not fat, she has extremely high percentage of fat in her body. Asians call her “meaty”. In America, “curvy” is the politically-correct term. Asian women are generally “skinny-fat”. Ninety-percent of women of Asian origin have “meaty” or “curvy” arms. Stand in front of the mirror and take a good look at your arms. Do your arms flare out, like wings, hence the term butterfly wings, as coined by Dr Arthur Tjandra of Elixir de Vie? Turn slightly to your right or left and take a look at your arms from 45 degree angle. Do your shoulders appear sunken, and your mid-arms fan out? Fit-looking arms are those which appear straight from shoulders down to the elbows. The shoulders, in fact, should appear slightly protruded compared to the mid-arms and the rest of the arms, which should appear straight from shoulders down to elbows. In flabby, meaty or curvy arms, the shoulders appear sunken inside and the mid-arms appear round, as what the arms of this young woman looked like before liposuction.

Initially, she had wanted to get only arms liposuction done, without liposuction of her shoulders. Unless there really was no fat in her shoulders, this could be done without sinister effect. To get the best result, Dr Arthur Tjandra of Elixir de Vie always recommends 3D liposuction, which covers not only the entire circumference of arms, but also shoulders, armpits and upper back. However, due to financial constraint, she finally opted for arms and shoulders liposuction. Getting only arms liposuction done, without concomitant shoulders liposuction, would leave her with “drumstick” arms, like what this African princess ended up with after whole body liposuction by a celebrity surgeon in Germany: Result of liposuction in Germany and subsequent revision liposuction in Medan.
