Video 1: Drumstick arms, result of incomplete liposuction
This African princess in her mid-20s has had whole body liposuction done in Germany before flying over to Medan to look for Dr Arthur Tjandra of Elixir de Vie because she was extremely unhappy with the result! Upon examination of her body, Dr Arthur Tjandra of Elixir de Vie found the causes of her unhappiness: incomplete (bits and pieces) liposuction and lots of adhesion scars most likely caused by aggressive ultrasound-assisted or other machine-assisted liposuction. Dr Arthur Tjandra of Elixir de Vie approaches liposuction in a 3-dimensional manner, performing liposuction on the entire circumference and all adjacent areas in the same region of the body. In the case of upper body like this, Dr Arthur Tjandra of Elixir de Vie performs liposuction not only on the entire length and entire circumference of the arms, but also the shoulders, the armpits, and the upper back! This is why his results stand out from all other surgeons. This is why he dares to upload thousands of unedited, raw videos of his surgeries and result on the internet for everyone to scrutinize. Performing liposuction with just a syringe instead of machines, also minimizes the risk of complications. If you are interested in watching how liposuction can be done with a syringe, please search for “awake syringe liposuction by Dr Arthur Tjandra” on YouTube! Video 2: Why does my tummy still look like a man’s tummy after liposuction?
It is because liposuction was performed only on the frontal tummy. To create a womanly hourglass figure, liposuction should be performed in a 3-dimensional manner to cover the entire torso, which includes upper abdomen, lower abdomen, waist, flanks and lower back as well as love handles. One can also observe there are a lot of “stuck-down” areas on her arms, abdomen and thighs, caused by “adhesion scars” because her previous surgeons had performed liposuction on her body using ultrasound-assisted liposuction device. Ultrasound-assisted liposuction is known to cause burns to the skin if performed too close to the skin. The resultant scars often cause the skin to “stick” to the tissues underneath it, hence the “stuck-down” appearance which one can observe in all the photos and videos we present here.

Video 5: Drumstick arms, result of incomplete arms liposuction
This a very good example of the result of arms liposuction without getting shoulders, armpits and upper back liposuction done at the same time. Our advice is: DO NOT cherry-pick areas of liposuction. ALWAYS get all areas within the same segment of the body lipo-ed within the same session. Otherwise, you may get weird-looking result like this! If you did not have enough money to pay for your surgery, save up first, then get a proper job done. Do not try to cut corners by choosing the cheapest surgeons! Unless the surgeons lay everything out on the table for you and advise you exactly which areas they are going to perform liposuction on. There is a reason why shoulders are called shoulders and not arms. There is a reason the armpits are called armpits and not arms. There is a reason why upper back is called upper back and not arms. Hence, if you pay for arms liposuction, you get arms liposuction! Unless it has been agreed that shoulders, armpits and upper back are included! We have no idea what really happened to this patient. She might have been the one who cherry-picked, requesting only arms liposuction done, refusing to get all the other areas of her upper body done. When a surgeon produces a result like this, no one really cares whether it is the patient’s fault to have cherry-picked, refusing to heed the surgeon’s advice to get 3D liposuction done. The surgeon’s reputation is affected as a result. Therefore, we generally refuse to accept patients who want to cherry-pick areas of liposuction, although we do sometimes accept such patients from time to time, because we want to record educational videos of the result to advise other prospective patients not to do the same, or risk having weird-looking result like this!
